Trash
Piling of trash in inappropriate places.
- A bulk garbage truck with a crane arm cannot collect this plie with it leaning against the streetlamp post.
- Do not pile Bulk on the grass areas as it kills the grass if left too long.
- Put the pile on the road as close to the curb as possible.
- Call Waste Management as soon as you put the bulk pile on the street or the day before.
- Try not to put the bulk items out before the weekends as they may end up sitting out until the following Wednesday.
- Please try not to put out bulk items around the holidays.
- Think ahead and let’s keep our community looking nice.
Yard Waste
Pilling of yard waste and debris on grass areas
- Put yard waste on the street not on the lawns. Garbage trucks may not pick up from lawn areas.
- You can also put out yard waste on Monday mornings when the landscapers are on the grounds.
No Driving or Parking on the Grass
Driving over grass areas and along the curbs can damage our sprinkler system.
- Be sure to use the paved entrance into the parking areas.
- Avoid driving over the edges of the grass along the sides of the entrance as sprinklers are installed in the grass.
- Once the sprinkler head has been broken the watering stops being effective and the grass begins to die.
- This also lowers the pressure on all the other sprinklers in that zone, and the grass in that entire zone does not get watered properly.
- Once the sprinkler is fixed the grass will grow back but it will look brown and ugly like this for a long time.
- If you see an area that looks like the grass is dying, please report it. Most likely the sprinkler system in that area has a problem.
Vehicles That Need Repair or Paint
Eyesore vehicles are not allowed to be on the community property.
- Owners will need to find alternate parking arrangements for cars that are under repair or need paint.
- At least try to park the vehicle so it does not show the worse side outward.
Left Over Cables from Previous Internet Service
Call Comcast / Xfinity to remove unused cables left behind. 800-934-6489
- You no longer use Comcast or Xfinity yet the cables were left in a mess at your meter area on your building.
- You are using the Broadstar fiber Optic services now and these cables are no longer needed.
- Comcast will not come out to remove the mess unless the previous customer calls and asks for the removal.
- JLV COA cannot have them removed only the previous subscriber can request the clean up.
Unused Satellite Dishes Can be Removed
You can remove it or let us know and we will have the handyman remove it.
- Contact the Property Manger to let us know if you’d like the Dish removed.
- The Satellite Dish company will not come and remove unused equipment.
- The handyman can remove the top part and dispose of it.
- The landscapers will come afterward to remove any pole and fill the hole.
Report Mold Forming on your Building
If you see mold or anything on your painted surfaces that needs repair.
- Mold usually forms on the north facing buildings and just above the porch overhang.
- In this case just below the building number.
- This can easily be removed with a pressure washer by our handyman.
- But someone has to alert us to the problem.
Do Not Park in Driveways or Behind Other Cars
Do not park anywhere where there are no clearly marked parking lines with curb stones.
- Do not park in the driveways.
- Only part along the curbs along the main streets.
- Do not park blocking any of the entrances or corners.
- Always leave room for emergency vehicles and garbage collection.
