Compliance Committee

This JLV COA volunteer committee meets from time to time to assist the board by reviewing the warnings and fines levied against members for not abiding by the Rule and Regulations of the Community.

The Compliance Committee plays a vital role in maintaining the standards and integrity of our community. As a volunteer body operating under the jurisdiction of the JLV Board of Directors, the committee meets periodically to review enforcement actions taken against members. Their primary responsibility is to examine the warnings and fines that have been levied against homeowners for alleged violations of the Community’s Rules and Regulations.

The committee acts as a crucial checkpoint in the enforcement process. Rather than issuing penalties themselves, they provide oversight and consistency, ensuring that the rules are applied fairly and uniformly across the neighborhood. By reviewing cases where infractions have been recorded, the committee helps the board confirm that due process has been followed and that the actions taken are appropriate for the specific circumstances.

Ultimately, the goal of the Compliance Committee is not to punish, but to encourage harmony and preserve the aesthetic and structural integrity of our community. Through their diligent volunteer work, they assist the board in fostering a neighborhood where rules are respected and residents can take pride in their surroundings. Their service is an invaluable asset to the board and the community as a whole.
